single chance at big money, would you do it? Turns out
there's at least one person who would answer yes: British
dude Ashley Revell, who is participating in a British
reality show where he will bet his entire net worth (180K
after liquidating all his possessions) on a single turn
of the wheel for a chance to double his money. I
hope he has lots of friends willing to let him sleep on
their couch for the next ten years. Reality programming
is a key theme in this show, with detailed discussions on
Idol and Apprentice and an appearance by one of my
favorite LBJ guests, the caustic and uncompromisingly
blunt Simon Cowell. I kinda wish he had shown up earlier
in the day to interview the loser candidate for the
producer's role. THAT would have been Radio Gold, my
friend!
