It's the first live show of 2004, and the boys are back from
their respective vacations with LOTS of stories to share --
Don's Christmas dinner (RUINED, I say!), Mike's new gal pal
Carla, Buzz's visit with his 86 year-old mother-in-law
Dottie -- and a new emphasis on hitting the scheduled
breaks. Let's see how long that lasts...probably as long as
it takes for Don to get bored with his new retro-style audio
prompt. Also on the "hot list": Brittany Spears's quickie
marriage and divorce (Robert Goulet does NOT approve!),
Steve "The Crocodile Hunter" Irwin endangers his baby, a
celebrity poker TV show and other new reality shows, and Don
likes a song by Clay Aiken -- who won't come out for at
least four more years. Also, a quick story from Joe Ardinger
about calling Journey's Ross Valorie on New Year's Eve. The
playlet after the story is pretty damn entertaining, too.
All in all, a good way to start the year.
