I re-read that SNL book a couple years back; it really is an
insightful and entertaining behind the scenes glimpse of "SNL"
past and present. My only criticism -- too much Tom Hanks. I
loved the format of the book (interview quotes grouped by
subject) especially when there were different points of view
about an event. My only other comment about today's show is
the note that first 30 minutes of this clip are the "DJ Doni"
show with our favorite D double E Jay talking up some great
70s and 80s tunes.
Gweedoe , I found some of what you might be looking for in the "Uncatagorize" section , near the bottom where it's listed alphabetically. There appears to be at least one to Two "Doni" segments that might be right up your alley
It doesn't need to be said, Don was
clearly a phenomenal top 40's dj and
clearly practiced his craft, but to burn
30 minutes in the opening of the show, i
wonder if mike was late , drunk or crying
in toilet over laura... I guess we will
never know.
