I love it when the gang shows their creativity by writing a
story, one word at a time, over the course of a show. In
this case, the caller who can recite the story verbatim will
win a trip to a WWF event. Not to stereotype, but I don't
normally equate Classic American Literature with pro
wrestling...But the audio file runs out before the big
payoff, so we will never know how the story ends.
Poor Charlie Stossel, lucky in life (!), but unlucky in
love. Good thing for him, Uncle Doni and Uncle Mike have
lots of ideas for improving his dating prospects (Mike: hang
out in bars; Don: go to church). Charlie is in studio to
review "The Kings of Comedy" and "The Cell," and to promote
his appearance with Robb on Saturday afternoon. Talk about
the "D List"!
LBJ with James Garner (one of my favorite Mike personas!) is
a hoot! Who knew JG was so OCD? He and Robb should work
together; every show would be like "Groundhog Day."
