Frank C. tries to fool us all with his impression of John Madden. If I didn't
know better, I would not have caught it. His impression is dead on.
This is also the episode where Don drops the "bong-bong" sound for
answering calls and starts the "24" CTU three-beep sound for all calls. He
would keep that sound right up to the last show in 2008. Don says he does it
so that listeners can tell when one call ends and another begins.
I found the noise to be irritating and never liked it. I liked the old sound
effect. Mike doesn't use any of the noises now, perhaps because he's not as
good on the controls as Don.
